Welcome to Saint Benedict School Music Department! Whether in class-music lessons, exam studies, or in extra-curricular activities our students have the opportunity to engage in a huge variety of musical experiences.

From classical music groups to the latest developments in popular music and music technology, our staff are able to offer a creative learning experience to suit all curriculum requirements and personal tastes.

Our Head of Department Miss Marion Chester leads a team of music enthusiasts including Mrs Anne de Waal and Mr Jonathan Jarvis and a large number of visiting instrumental teachers. Our musician in residence, based in North Block, is Mr John Gill.
