red dotLucy Adams BA (Hons) has been dancing since the age of three and she has studied a wide variety of styles including ballet, tap, modern jazz, theatre craft, gymnastics, contemporary, and freestyle. Lucy studied A level Dance and Performing Arts and then gained her Degree in Dance from DeMontfort University.

Her performance experience includes contemporary dance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, African and contemporary dance at DeDa, street jazz at Pride Park for various events, cabaret entertainment as part of a dance troupe and for the delegates at the Headmaster’s Conference in both Manchester and Derby. Lucy has also performed in DeMontfort's University dance festival taking on the role of dance captain. She has been fortunate enough to create pieces of dance with assistance from professional contemporary choreographers such as Jonathan Burrows and Xavier le Roy. She was a model and dancer for I'll Defined's music video Hit That Floor.

In the field of education Lucy has taught A level and GCSE dance students, led performing arts workshops and performances in primary schools, dance demonstrations for community projects and has taught a range of classes at a local dancing school. Presently she teaches at various performing arts schools in the East Midlands.

red dotJonathan Jarvis BA (Hons) GBSM ABSM studied double bass, bass guitar and piano at Birmingham Conservatoire focusing on performance, arranging and choral conducting. He spent a post graduate year concentrating on piano accompaniment and vocal coaching for singers.

Using these skills Jonathan founded and directed a four-part choir that competed in festivals and received local media coverage. He has been musical director for various shows including Little Shop of Horrors, Annie, The Sound of Music and Blood Brothers.

Jonathan's performance experience includes: as a double bass player in the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the City of Birmingham Touring Opera, Mid Wales Opera and Oh What a Lovely War; as a vocal accompanist the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Bournemouth International Music Festival; as a bass guitarist Ronnie Scott's (jazz) First Family Entertainment (Ambassador Theatre Group) pantomimes and also the UK tour of Evita.

red dotClaire Micallef started dancing at the age of three studying various styles, she went on to train professionally at the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama, graduating with distinction.

Television Credits include: as an actor on a T-Mobile commercial, Featured roles on BBC Doctors, BBC Hustle and BBC Come Fly With Me and as a dancer and model for Ill Defined’s Music Video Hit That Floor,

Theatre credits include being a dancing girl at the Hotel international in Derby, playing the role of young Stella in the show Follies at the Waterford festival in Ireland, a dancer/singer in the dance troupe The Burlidolls, who have performed at various locations and events including Newcastle football ground, the ‘Give Tilly a Hand’ Ball and performed in The Best Of The West End. Profesional pantomimes for Solihull Arts Complex and a dancer in the Fanasty Ball hosted by Alan Carr.

Claire teaches for numerous of performing arts schools in the Midlands and various Primary and Secondary Schools.

red dotHannah Mason BA (Hons) has been acting for many years, completing a BA(Hons) in Drama at the University of Hull, followed by a postgraduate Diploma in Acting at the Bridge Theatre Training Company, Camden. She has been in many feature length and short films, including a pilot for a new BBC drama series. Stage credits include Sorel Bliss in Noels Coward's 'Hay Fever', and Lady Anne in Shakespeare's 'Richard III'.


Hannah has experience teaching a wide range of students and styles, working for various theatre schools and delivering drama and movement workshops for companies across the Midlands.

 

red dotChloe Adams BA (Hons) is a qualified primary school teacher and is paediactric first aid trained. She has been interested in performing arts since an early age and has taken part in many amateur productions. Chloe is delighted to be involved with Red Dot Theatre Company as a teaching assistant.
